NCLEX “Bad Pop-up”. QUESTION. Took the NCLEX exam today. Was extremely anxious throughout the entire day. Went the full 145 questions. Had some easy questions, then some hard questions, and then a mix of easy and hard questions towards the end…. By the time I got to my car, I received the email confirmation that I completed the exam.

I took the NCLEX today and I felt like I did okay. I used Kaplan and Simple Nursing to study and on all my CAT exams I got passing at 85 questions. And I got above 60% on all the practice exams, trainers, and readiness exams. But w/ this bad pop up I don’t know how to feel. I did the 3 week NCSBN review then did a live Hurst Review 3 weeks before my test. The PVT is not 100% accurate. There have been some reports of getting a “bad pop-up” or “false result”. However, it is a fairly good indicator to what a student’s result actually is. In my experience, the trick worked for everyone from my nursing school who tried it.

A good pop up is when you go to be register for the exam all the way through to the credit card section and You must enter a valid credit card & expiration date and all the info for payment then submit it and then it doesn't go through and it pops up in little red letters warning that you have an exam already registered and that you can't regist...

To my relief, I got a good pop-up indicating that I had passed the exam and could not re-register for a retake. The result was the same as what I saw on the NCLEX website when I checked my official results.I just took my NCLEX for the second time and got the good pop-up!! I'm so excited! When it submitted the payment went through to my bank and then automatically refunded it and gave me the “good pop up”. The first pop up with incorrect card number said “ We’re unable to process your payment. Please select an alternate payment type.”. When I got home around 1:30, I tried the PVT and got the message saying that I currently have an open registration and I cannot register for another NCLEX — indicating that I tried too early to do this trick. Studied with Archer for 3 weeks approx 75 questions/day 5 day/ week. NCLEX exam shut down at 97 questions after a SATA. Was feeling very indifferent but optimistic about my results. I tried the Pearson vue trick (aka good or and pop up) and got the " Bad pop up " multiple times. I spent the next 2 days sobbing & devastated. Good pop up is always accurate, bad pop can go either way. NCLEX is graded twice, once by the computer as soon as you finish, and again by an actual person. I did around 50-100 questions a day. I completed Lippincott Q&A NCLEX-PN's comprehensive tests, slowly. I would do about 20 questions then go back and mark correct or incorrect, then I would read the rationale and write out a brief summary in my own words. The only time I've heard of the pop up not workin is when it takes you to the CC page and then you end up passing. Plus you got the minimum number of questions for the PN exam and that's I very good thing!

Hi everyone! I tested yesterday and I did the PVT yesterday about an hour after the exam and then again today. Quick results come out tomorrow. I noticed that the $200 was refunded to me for both yesterday and today about an hour after I did the trick.
